I think wind blade should have a larger hitbox and do AOE damage. Why throw a wind blade when a lightning lance does significantly more damage per shot? Why knockback when you can just kill? Since the greater wind spell has AOE, too, wind moves should deal less damage but have AOE and knockback (actual 'crowd' control), whereas lightning can be more single target DPS focused. That way both have their use cases.
