I’ve never been around so many glaciers in my life, and the snowpack was incredible. It made for some fast decents

Enjoying your video series. What time of year did you do this route? Lots of snow! Thanks!

@@Clayonthetrail finished up the series today, really informative. I feel like there are alot of well done high route videos but not alot of explanation on the route. Yours stood out in that way. Thanks for sharing. Gonna make a solo run early september this year, pending weather.

@@SoloSchmitty September should be ideal. Crowds down, bugs down and a little early for winter

I know others who've had some encounters with some dippers up there in the Winds...gotta say I was tempted a time or two to become one myself with how hot it got on my trip up there last year. 😂 That Alpine Basin is quite the obstacle course. Not sure whether to be happy or jealous of all the extra snow you guys had for it this year. Looks like it served you well in some spots and made it more sketchy in others.

I’ll admit I jumped in a time or 2, but I made sure I didn’t have an audience. Maybe I’m just a prude;)

When did this hike take place? Asking so I have a better idea of attire to pack for my UHT backpacking trip next week. Thanks!
