I'll try to keep up the excellence as you say. Thanks a bunch!

Great episode. Crazy that the harbour was full of motor yachts instead of sailing vessels. The opposite is something that I noticed in the Netherlands. Motor boats almost look alien between all the sailboats there :-)

We later found out there was a cheaper marina to go to in the port. We just needed a berth for the night and the "Yacht Club" was what was indicate on the guy's Navionics app. As well seems most sailboats anchor in coves rather than at marinas. July and August is the high season, so it's costly and very busy. Part of the learning experience.

Hey Cherise! How are you? Are you back in your mountains? Yes, next episode is fishy, and the one after that we feature a couple of cool sailor girls. Hope that fish we gave you was still OK. I'm now waiting for my official ocean sailing license and back on the boat. Nico and Steph will be glad you found us on YT!

I have enjoyed your videos from the beginning, but now that you are sailing could you please add some maps to show where you are and where you are heading. -johnny

Hi Johnny, that's a fair comment and I'm just ahead of you in the next episode where I'll be adding a look on the map. That being said, I sometimes leave a bit of mystery so that viewers engage in asking questions. It's great to get people who are curious and want to know more. Thanks for watching.

Hey Alex. Great episode once again. I need a break from England, can you recommend any cheap and cheerful B&Bs along the coast near marinas in Minorca? Safe sailing and keep the great programs coming :)
@WindedVoyage8 жыл бұрын
I wish I could. We stopped only twice in Minorca and wished we could have gotten out to explore the island. When I got back to my marina in France, a friend was getting ready to sail to Minorca and spend a month there. He was part of a small fleet of cruisers going and meeting there. They are now there enjoying themselves and waiting for me me to join. I'm here waiting for my license to sail the seas. I would love to give you recommendations, but know little about the island except it's apparently less touristy and cheaper than the trendy Mallorca and Ibiza. Wish you a great break from England, (even though it has already broken:-)

You know 80% of drowned males are found with their fly undone aye? Just checkin ;-)

Yes, but what about the other 20%?

No pants at all probably :-) Its just a silly story I tell every bloke that comes aboard to highlight the risks of pissing off the back of boats. I'm really loving your story telling, what a smashing yarn, thanks for taking us all along. Trying desperately to catch up to present day by binge watching. Fabulous stuff, cheers.
