Here’s a question, my windows are like yours in that the motors sound like they are labouring I’m thinking of wiping edge of glass with silicone spray to lubricate it , what do you think?

very nice video. I have a 2010 mini cooper clubman. I am having a problem with my rear door. It will luck, no issues, if I lock it will stay locked, but some times I can be driving and will unlock. or I will sit parked and door will unlock. I looked the locking mechanisms are fine, no issues. I have two car keys, I swapped them thinking could be something wrong with the remote. My assumption is perhaps has to do something with the reseting. Any suggestion?

Do this procedure works for blinkers not working and headlights stay on ? I installed cold air intake system and after disconnecting negative battery and mass air sensor and reconnecting back , body sensors stopped working ! Thank you 🙏 for detail procedure Sir! GOD BLESS !

Hi, I am writing to you hoping to receive your precious help. I replaced the license plate lights (I have all led lights) with new ones, always led. Unfortunately the car had some sort of blockage of the ecu, and now the windows do not work, the direction arrows and the headlights remain on (even if off from the selector). Is there anything I can do with this procedure in the video, to fix the problem? (I changed the battery, but the problem remains). A greeting

My drivers window rear edge is no longer parallel to forward edge of rear window. Appears that window is sitting nose (front end) low. Any guess if this would be a mechanical problem or a problem with electrical sensor? Window functions normally but very close to A pillar. Great website, nice work. Thanks,

Is this a procedure that you have to do with most minis as a garage told me that you only have to hold the button up for 10 seconds and press the window down to the bottom and hold for another 10 seconds I have a 08 r55 problem with UK driver's side window keeps opening full when unlocking door by the handle 🤔 The 10 second trick did not work So I went out and purchased a foxwell nt510 elite plugged it in no window learning they seem to forgot to put it on the new software update so still got the same problem 😞 Don't want to go to a garage and pay stupid money for the process Any sensible advice out there would be much appreciated 👍 Kind regards Mark

hi are you ok? I have a question if you can inform me does this reset of the windows also melt to open the windows and close them remotely with the remote control? because in my mini I can open the windows remotely and the roof but not close them (I'm talking about opening them by pressing the key opening the doors and closing them with the close the car key)

This just resets the window position sensor, you need something like BimmerCode for what you’re talking about

I removed a window reg to replace it, I was waiting on delivery of window reg but when I closed the door it would no longer open from inside or outside! I think it maybe to do with Window position sensor, it thinks the window is all the way up and won’t unlock the door as a safety to stop you breaking the window, do you or anyone else know if I’m right and how do I sort this?
