Window Switch for Land Rover Discovery

I was trying to figure out how to remove the controls. So you don't need to remove the door panel to replace it? My mirrors will only go side to side when I try to adjust up and down. Also the driver mirror button stays dimly illuminated. So I figure the whole control is bad.
