1:03:00 A single note on (3 bytes) takes 0.96ms (320µs × 3) or about 1ms. On properly engineered devices using running status, 5 note on won't take 5ms (4.8ms precisely) but 3.52ms (320µs × (3 + 2 × 4)) since the following status byte will be omitted and only take 2 bytes.

If you want to develop for Windows, you would need a Windows machine. If you want to develop for Mac, you would need a Mac machine. Very simple.
