Windows 8.x’s taskbars are actually gradients! 1. Set your background colour to black 2. Set your accent colour to a light colour (white for noticeable results) 3. Unlock your taskbar and resize it to the maximum height 4. Look closely at an empty portion of your taskbar, and notice the way the colour gets more opaque when you look from top to bottom.

@@Jopekos, kde development is rather slow, i didn't check kde myself for a while and right now using w11 as daily-drive, but i especially want to compare my w11 pure experience with last kde versions since microsoft screwed their ui once again. My personal complain about kde always was stability, but every time i return to kde it feels always better than before and looking to their last ui changes they finally redesigned what bother me early, so maybe i'll stick longer with it.
