Windows XP was the operating system I used when I was a little kid. Brings back memories. I had an eMachines computer running Windows XP Home Edition SP2, dunno which model it is.

I completely forgot about zSNES until this video! That was also my first emulator as a kid; had a lot of fun playing all of my favorite games again at that time. I remember setting up a controller for that was terrible since I don't remember it having a save feature for button layouts... Good times.

I still have pretty good memories of ZSNES. My older brother introduced me to emulation about 20+ years ago through that emulator. I used it alot throughout the early to late 00's. It's crazy how much emulation has changed since I started emulating consoles as a 10 year old kid.

I used Windows XP up to the year 2020 until I upgraded to Windows 11, the same PC too. It was unsupported but managed to jump hoops. Give the MyPal browser a try. It works great on XP and I've not had any issues loading web pages with it. It does also support Firefox extensions.

Neither do I. While most of the computers in my college run on Ubuntu alongside Windows 10, there are many old computers that they still haven't thrown own that run Windows XP. Heck with even the last available version of Firefox (which is version 52 ESR), I could get quite a few sites like reddit working.

@@abdulkhujliwal786 If you care, tell them to replace Firefox with its XP-focused alternative called MyPal, it gets updates for security and supports the same addons. I run it on my old rig and it's exceptional, I can upload anything to my cloud storage accounts and download straight from there, whereas Firefox 52 ESR would struggle if not outright crash on Google Drive or MEGA, could be the lack of RAM, but still I have no issues on MyPal.

I think it makes more sense to have Win2000. Win2k had the ability to be VERY clean and VERY minimal. As long as you got the exact drivers for each device nothing would break or upset it. No driver simply meant no device and not bricked OS. WinXP was a complete total mess where drivers could give you BSODs forever even Safe-Mode wasnt really safe 😛and unknown device meant it kept trying to find a driver or do weird stuff. Reinstall every 3 to 6 months just to keep it running

Network sharing (SMB) is likely blocked as Windows XP only supports SMBv1 which is no longer supported on newer versions of Windows 10/11.

I got Windows 11 running full speed on my M1 Ipad Pro. It’s actually quite easy (no altstore, no sideloading). However as far as I know it only works on M1 Ipads. Great Video btw. Best regards.

You should be able to run a VM with 2gb of RAM safely on the ipad air m1. You might be able to run Debian arm on it, and do some code editing with something like Thonny, or other lightweight linux software like Gimp or Inkscape. Doesnt sound like a bad idea to try out, modern desktop software on the go!

I would love to see you run Win98 on it. Also, the rules of minesweeper are irrelevant. It randomly generates the field when you open it instead of when you make the first click, so you'll often hit a mine for your first move, which is completely unfair for a game.
