Thanks man, the solution for me was the last one, I put the "sfc /scannow" command and it founds some broken files, and it fixed my problem.

For me it says " Sorry, your PC doesn't meet the hardware requirements for recording clips. For more info, go to Game Bar settings. " EXACTLY like I typed. And 90% of every method could not be accessed on my computer or I could not find it.

the registry part shows app capture enabled with the correct hexidecimal, but it also shows a bunch of other stuff as well under game dvr where yours only has like 4 after putting in the app capture enable

i had faced the same issue, i fixed it however, search game bar on the search bar, u will see an option of app setting under the open file location, click that and u r at the same page. :)

What if, I did everything that you said and still nothing ? still my game bar is not working ?? My Xbox game bar is enabled, I clicked on repair and reset the game bar, I also checked and my AppCapturedEnabled is on 1.hex... I wont uninstall and reinstall the app, as I am sure that this is not where the problem lies... My xbox bar is working perfectly fine on my desktop BUT it does not do screenshots and captures video WHEN I play a game... Only then it gives me a information "Game bar isn't supported for this game's current settings'' and after doing some of the tricks u showed in ur video here, I got a message "Gaming features aren't available for the Windows desktop or File explorer" Xbox game bar used to work no problem before, and one day, it started to give me on and of issues. CAN U HELP ?? can anyone help ?

I'm a laptop user and my Xbox Game bar 'performance' widgets stop working. But This video doesn't find me a solution. So I change the background permission (option shown at 1.21 min in the video) from 'power optimized' to 'always' and it starts working again!! you can try it

Mine opens but there is only one box in the middle of the screen for recording and volume, on my laptop a bar at the top comes up and I can check fps etc, this bar is completely absent on my desktop.

I tried every single step on this video and it didn't work out , then i discovered that my gpu doesn't support xbox game bar recording (by the way is a rx 6400) ,so you have to see if your gpu support game bar recording

I have done evey thing but actually I had buy new dell laptop and it works 2/3 days one day I was recording on my laptop but it stopped or hangout then I suddenly switch off after that I opened my laptop after that I unable to record it says sometimes game bar is not available or sometimes we can't record or try again

Another method that worked for me was just opening the store after a fresh install of windows 11, finding xbox game bar and clicking get... it's like the windows 11 base install comes with a broken or really old version

you can use this method: 1. go to settings 2. Apps 3.Installed apps 4. Search xbox gamebar 5. click on the three dots on the right of xbox gamebar. 6. Click advanced options. 7.scroll down and u will see an passage named background app permissions. 8. put it to always. 9. open and check xbox gamebar , it should be working by now.

This pos constantly stops detecting either fps, or all of the performance stuff... Resetting and repairing has fixed it before, but now even that won't help.
