Yes there is a difference between joke entry and just a fun upbeat song. This is definitely not a joke entry. I have recently been watching old Eurovision contests, and after seeing some of those joke entries I can't understand why people judge songs so quickly as jokes nowadays. You can tell the difference if you actually listen.
