I have been around boat racing a good long while here in the states. I was a ski race competitor in my younger years but have spectated at circle boat races a couple times a year for maybe the last 40 years. And I am really so impressed by these boats and drivers. These guys just really haul ass. Super impressive. So many boats and their all top notch. Someday I would love to come to Australia and attend these events. Unfortunately, we really don't have racing this good in the states anymore. We used to, but not anymore. Maybe that will change someday.

I remember back in my childhood going to the boat races, it seemed any place with a half decent puddle had the big bangers doing laps ( displacement and hydro's). What a shame it doesn't happen in this age

So exciting but I couldn’t hear what boat won the commentator said the drivers name but I don’t follow this type of racing so I have no clue what boat he drives. It sounded like he said Tate Ramsay but I’m not sure what boat what power what hull. If someone knows please let me know.

The race was won by Xplicit the Barra powered red boat. The championship was won by Tate Ramsay driving Reckless the blue blown boat that finished second in the final race of the season.
