Very wise to sell the VW; they are prone to severe camshaft troubles. The speed was 👍for a small sail Greetz from 🇳🇱

Interesting that you try waist harness for back pain when you have Liberty harness. From this year I'm riding the Drake harness similar to Liberty and I feel better than with waist harness. To be honest I only got back pain when I was underpowered in lulls and ended up in some stupid position trying to remain plaining. With the Drake harness I think I can manage those situation better now.

@@urmastiirik I prefer the waist harness in waves and have actually also found that I am slightly faster on the big slalom stuff with the waist harness but more testing is needed. I was on a clinic and it is probably my technique that makes me use my lower back muscles to much. There is always something to work on in this great sport🤙

@@surferkaspert4679 well if you managed to go 61 km/h with that weather then it shows I’m far behind with my skills. I could go maybe 50km/h with my current skills. That is a nice thing with windsurfing that there is so much to test and improve.

Nice video As you have a lot of experience on slalom Boards, I am courious to know your opinnion of fmx Invictus compared to av modena Can you give me you sincerilly opinión ? Thanks in advance

Hi thanks for liking the video. Both brands are built by kinetic in Vietnam so quality is the same, but the FMX have the special paint on the bottom and the possibility to trim the cut outs as the plates can be taken of. Sailing wise the performance is the same for a guy at my level more or less. In the small sizes both brands have great control and are easy to jibe. In medium sizes the av runs a bit more free but is more difficult to jibe. Even though the FMX feels more planted it is super fast and my pb on medium board is done on the FMX. In big sizes I feel the last av I had was more technical to sail than the FMX. Hope you can use the input. I think both brands make really good boards in high quality and the limitations are more the rider then the shapes.

That did not look comfortable at all :) Maybe better of with a small Freewave and a 4.5 power-wave-sail? Good training though.

Yup not 40 knots, at 40 the tops of the waves get blown off, spray everywhere.

@@thomaspahnke2082 windpeaks were 21 m/s on the report from the official danish services. 40 knots is 20,5m/s. It was not 40 knots all the time. And the wind was slowly backing off. Also it was offshore and you how gusty that can be. Peaks were over 40. And sometimes there were only 15knots.
