The most beautiful landing I have ever seen especially with an airliner.

It is just wild to see the flexing of the wing. My friends who work at the Everett Boeing plant, tell me the new composite wings are lighter, stronger, and have better lift. Really something.

that is what I call express service bro, highly appreciated. DFW DFW, you don't change, it was sometime ago, but I got stucked on DFW for around 8 hours, because of hazardous conditions due to a thunderstorm, miss my MIA connection.

WhereHeroesDies no problem! Yup TStorms and ice in DFW can be a real issue during different times of the year

Wow I never realized my workplace was visible on the 31R approach. Not particularly common to have heavies landing on 31/13, even with winds. Must have been particularly strong that day.

I never passed through Dallas without being knocked about, hence my reason for avoiding going there for any reason.

GREAT JOB!! I’ve been in Texas several times and flown into and out of DFW. It is amazing how far you can see because of all the open space!

The Trent Auto-thrust sounds healthier than others. The others sound more haunting...if you will. Thank you.

Question for the aviation enthusiast....why is a wide body triple 7 being used here for short regional hop from Miami to DFW? Aren’t the big wide bodies reserved for long international flights?
@FlyHighPhotography6 жыл бұрын
rp currey normally you would be right! However many airlines, to include AA, DL and UA use widebodies on high capacity routes like DFW-MIA (AA 777) or LAX-DFW (AA 787-900) just to name a few. This isn’t just for high passenger loads but also high cargo loads as well. They are also used as reposition flights. This specific jet would continue on later to South Korea. When you start to add maintenance considerations it gets even more complex. Hope that makes sense!
@FriedShrimpPoBoy6 жыл бұрын
Fly High Photography It does. Thanks for the quick reply. I had a hunch it either just came from overseas or it was going overseas from DFW. I didn’t think they would take it all the way back to Dallas just for an oil change.

rp currey no problem!
@yoyoyoyoshua5 жыл бұрын
@@FlyHighPhotography 787-9* Also they can be used for relocation. Like LAX-MIA has a 777 on it and the 777 continues to South America later on.

Why doesn't the 777 have any type of wingtip? Seems kind of a waste. Even the 787 has that bit at the end.
@InvaderZIM..6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Wesley they have what’s called raked wingtips it’s like the 787 just flat
@aviezek30727 жыл бұрын
what is up with the spoiler brake...? they dont come all up instantly
@FlyHighPhotography7 жыл бұрын
aviezek most of the time the position of the spoilers will depend upon weight on wheels. He tiptoed the jet fairly well onto the ground so it likely took a bit to get to that point

@@FlyHighPhotography I had no idea that AA was configuring their J seats like that (fwd/aft) That must be a -200 thing. DFW is my home airport when I'm stateside, but have only flown on AAs -300s from London and Frankfurt, and they had all fwd-facing J seats. Might be a sign of things to come when the -300s go through refurbishing.
@FlyHighPhotography6 жыл бұрын
Christopher Ishmael yup it’s that configuration on their 777-200s as well as the 787-800. I’m not sure the 300s will adapt that config, the 787-900 are different that they are all forward facing and the refurbished 767 are different in that they are the staggered/offset seating.

Dallas looks dry as hell, everything is dirt and yellow like Arizona.
@zachmatt36 жыл бұрын
Not really. I believe this was winter, and things do brown out due to cold nights. But precip wise, they get about the same amount as Chicago, Minneapolis, and other places in the midwest. It is not desert like Arizona, but is instead midwestern grassy plains. In the spring and fall, and early summer, the area is a brilliant green. You can see that in other vids.
@AJ-lh4fp6 жыл бұрын
wait till spring arrives 😂 but the dirt thing I agree Dallas and El paso are the ugliest ass cities in this state

@Philip S not really fam, out here in Austin and in eastern/coastal Texas it's more greenery and the coast obviously has water views and palm trees
