Just found this channel ! Super cool that you fish w/ your Pops . . . best fishing partner you can have. My Pops is 92 and just slowed down fishing a bit last year due to some medical stuff . . . but he's pushing to get back out there. You're younger than me, and all I can say is fish with your Pops as much and as often as you can . . . other fishing partners will come & go . . . but Dads will ALWAYS hold the top spot ! I've never been to the delta but have always been a 'fan' . . . . I'm in SoCal so usually run down the lower colorado river. (we call it the 'mini-delta' . . .LOL. Would love to come up there some time just to experience it . . . but it's super intimidating . . . and I've heard if you don't know where to park / stay you can pretty much count on your boat /truck being broken into, so I've bee reluctant. Anyways . . . great channel and thanks for taking us along for the ride . . . those wednesday nighters look like a blast !!!!

Appreciate the view. And trust me I definitely don’t take fishing with my pops for granted, too many close friends have lost their best fishing partner. Don’t believe what you hear about the delta, there is only one ramp that we all stay away from out here, 90% of the ramps are perfectly fine to launch at. If you’re looking for a place to stay and fish I recommend, B&W they have a good launch ramp as well as cabins right next to the water.

Lemonaide time. Thats the beauty of tournaments . You never know the outcome so you have to commit to the effort. I set a club record for weight in a tournament where my trim failed during blastoff. I idled 2 miles to a spot I never fished except the night before in my dreams. i was catching spawners on a steep dropoff. I left an hour 15 minutes early to get back to the launch and left at least 2 bigger bass than I boated. I had them on and lost them multiple times.
