Regarding the name Aglianico, could also be linked to the mont of July (luglio in Italian). Aleatico (something like aglianeca in neapolitan) is the name given to any grape that start to ripen in July.

seems like a local tradition, inventing myths about Italian grapes been “ancient” Greek… obviously they never are 😅
