Wing Chun Footwork: Exploring the Three Types of Kicks - Master Tu Tengyao

In Wing Chun, the three types of kicks are commonly referred to as follows:
"Jong Kuen" (掌拳): The front kick or straight kick, delivered with the ball of the foot.
"Biu Kuen" (鏢拳): The side kick or roundhouse kick, typically executed with the heel or the blade of the foot.
"Jaam Kuen" (斬拳): The oblique kick or stomping kick, aimed at targeting the opponent's legs or lower body with a downward or diagonal motion.
These are the general names used to describe the three types of kicks in Wing Chun. However, it's worth noting that terminology may vary slightly between different lineages or practitioners.

All low kicks very affective and direct and very challenging to see them coming. Try higher kicks on the rocks etc as always try to keep your feet on or closer to the ground this is why boxing is so dangerous to the fancier kicking martial artists and stay on center line unless countering attacking

Ahí está mejor la manera de enseñar ya que se desarrolla mejor la ternica sin la necesidad de golpearse tanto al enseñar cuidando que nadie salga lastimado en los entrenamientos cosa que igual sucede pero ya de forma axidental y no por enseñar de manera tan violenta la capacidad en el entrenamiento la determina el aprendizaje para cada nivel de sinturon por la capacidad de cada alumnos por pruebas que se pueden hacer para ver el rendimiento por todo lo que an aprendido llevando a destacar a un alumno del otro por su aprendizaje y capacidad mental teórico y desarrollo dándole un reconocimiento por su nivel de preparación en un sinturon que determina su nivel es decir un sinturon de cada color según su capacidad sinturon amarillo blanco pulpura rojo café negro ésto es como ejemplo por el nivel que an ascendido por todo lo que an aprendido lo cual funciona como un incentivo para querer superarse aún más en lo que están aprendiendo para después participar porque no en un torneo de artes marciales así se puede destacar la escuela y su maestro junto con sus alumnos en trofeo 🏆 y medallas por participar y ganar y salir muy contento y agradecido y orgulloso de su maestro gracias gracias gracias que tengan un feliz día todo saludos desde Chile 👍🫶🫶🫶 excelente 👍

I think anyone who's been training in boxing for a year or more would eat this guy for breakfast. It's very telling that whenever you see these idiots showing their skills, it's always, always, always, ALWAYS in a demonstration that features a student throwing a single punch, sometimes two if you're lucky, and then standing there like a mannequin while the instructor makes himself look cool. It's all just a cult to glorify the instructor and feed his ego. In an actual martial arts gym, if the coach is the best fighter in the room, then he's probably a bad coach.

Just find me a video of this style being used to stop a skilled aggressive opponent. Good luck. I've looked for 6 months and have never found one. Not one. However my foolish friend I have found several THOUSAND videos showing MMA is effective at stopping a skilled aggressive opponent. Only a dummy takes fight instruction from a guy that's never been in a fight.
