Barbados Stick fighting or as it is known as stick licking. It's very reminiscent of Kayti which is a Kenyan stick fighting art. It's considered the oldest stick fighting or weapons-based style in existence. The moments are very much like Kayti. But while the aforementioned is from Kenya. Barbadian stick licking It is believed to have a strong origin in the Congo of Central Africa.

Sadly all African martial arts in all African arts in the diaspora are treated with a negative connotation which is why you don't hear about them as much. The exception being Capoeira and that is only changed within the last 70 to 100 or so years. Not to mention slavery wouldn't allow for African slaves or even African Americans to know about and even practice these styles.
