Wing Chun Wooden dummy spring arm review

Interesting concept. It just might catch on. You could always put some foam sleeves over the springs to reduce or even eliminate injury.

I'd take the spring arm over traditional all day. JKD and Wing Chun are so badass due to the speed, The spring arms are more lifelike IMHO, pls make more vids, OSSSS! Safety, prosperity and joy to all!

Didn't get any audio for this video. We made what must've been 20 -30 of these spring loaded dummies back in the 80's here in San Francisco at the US Wing Chun Academy. We invented a spring mounting system whereby you could shorten the springs or lengthen them depending on the the amount of push or hard contact you wanted. We used old garage door springs. One of the students got a patent for it.

Well thought through review . These seem interesting. Anything dummy related is expensive. I think you 'get your money back' the more you use these. (Import duty is such a downer from the US. I wish we had a trade deal that eliminated all that).
