Saw the vid on Kevin's channel. It was a fun experiment. The grappling with Seth was a very drastic difference in dynamic compared to the kickboxing segment.

I'm pretty sure Kevin lee is a BJJ blackbelt under Pedro Sauer too. The grappling segment of this video really showed that off.

Hard 2 Hurt did a few fights on Streetbeefs, including one against a significantly larger opponent. Definitely would recommend checking them out.

I give Kevin props. I don't like the way he applies his wing chun in general but I got no room to talk cuz he's out here testing himself!

Love all the guys involved and think they all have skill. But size matters. While martial arts can be a force multiplier for smaller people, luck is often involved. Keep making the great videos folks!

I saw Kevin help teach with guro Innosanto down in Bakersfield. He’s amazing at all arts, especially helped out during the muy Thai class.

I think that's kevin's signature move he adapted from wing chun, if i remember correctly.

Years ago (before I started to shrink) I was 6'1about 191 or so. We had some pretty big dudes in our school, and it was great training against the bigger guys. It was basically my greater speed against their mass and strength. It was a cat and mouse game with me moving in, striking and moving out, or pressing my advantage with a combo if I had an opening. For them, it would only take one ham hock strike to level me. I had to keep track of my endurance and make sure I had enough in the tank to keep safe. It was really fun, even with the occasional cracked rib or broken nose. 😅

I mean sure. But, they're all friends there. Would you put your friend to sleep in a sparring match?

Everyone is holding back. Wonderboy is holding back more because it's like Superman trying to play sports as Clark Kent.

The thing is that savate kicks are not just about how they are executed, but with what. And barefoot is not the way. The shoe is a mandatory component of savate kicks. The dictate which part to hit with, the angle, the distance, the precision. Size does matter for sure. But getting hit with a shoe does help evening the gap.

Spar With Big Guys are fine if the Big Guy go light and doesn't try KO you, Seth clearly respect Kevin a lot and doesn’t try go full Sean Strickland in him.

*Kevin's better at teaching than sparring unfortunately. He got owned by Jeff from MMAShredded too with Muay Thai vs Wing Chun. I enjoy how Kevin explains the art but it could be his size and that he's always going up against bigger guys who have a similar experience level which makes him seem weaker in sparring every time.*

I don’t know if they’re both holding back but their kicks are so slow and weak. 🤔

The punch behind the head was taught to Kevin by Jeff Chan aka MMAshredded. It's a super funky move. No idea where Jeff learned that though.

Definitely feature Sifu Francis Fong, Kevin's Sifu. He looks tough as hell and rugged not just for a Wing Chun man, but for his age. The man has so much knowledge.

Watching these two youtubers really confirms that they cannot fight. New movement solutions, choreographed videos, and trying to stay relevant is what pays them, not actual fighting.
