That's my big brother Ant! He's been playing since he was 5 years old
@ethanlancaster764 жыл бұрын
Your brother is an amazing player! He is also one of Victor’s favorite players as he has mentioned him multiple times in various articles and interviews. I’m sure you’re very proud to call him “brother”, very cool!
@nisselarson32273 ай бұрын
Wow, he's got a massive grip with his plucking hand. Looks like he can play with his pinky. :) I never saw anyone play their bass quite like that. Very groovy, I wish people in other places than NAMM would appreciate two bassists jamming and improvising from nothing without drumbeats.

I didn't know Anthony Wellington till this video, and i have to admit that he is excellent ! Great feel and creativity !! They killed it and show us what music is all about : friendship and to share moments like that ! 🤘🥁🎤🎸

Yeah, MusicMan, Warwick but most of the bassists almost end up with the p bass or the Jazz one! Keep up Emil G, just be open, and if the Musicman is what you like, stick to it then. 😎

Yin Yang.... great tune. Saw Vic and the brothers Wooten and got a pic for $12 dollars back around the year 200/1...... He's been an incredible influence on my musical life. So glad to see Vic is still groovin after all this time.

Just purchased Hartke TX600 and Hydrive 15 cabinet. Thanks to these guys! Can't wait to do my first gig with it! Thanks Anthony and Victor for this demonstration which made my final decision to choose Hartke and not Markbass.

Wooten and Wellington, sick as always. What sticks out to me is the Musicman bass guitar Wellington is playing; one of the most original bass guitar sounds ever. Once again, from the mind of Leo Fender. #respect

This is one if the best things ever. Two of some of the best bass players ever jammin and they are having so much fun doing it!!!! This is the kinda bass player I'm striving to be. A creative, fun, and ball full of grooves man lol the vibe is just too real here.
@alwaysopen79704 жыл бұрын
Wooten is the well known player but Ant is right there with them. His school is 25 miles down the road from me. A woman I know took lessons from him at the age of 50+ and was playing out in bars in short time.

When words fail a person, because he knows he has just witnessed an epic jam by two of the best in the business! Woo isn't trying to upstage, nor is Mr. Wellington. They're just doing what they do, and doing a mutual admiration thing at the same time! Wow.

VW: I know, but they'll be dancing ! AW: Oh yeah they will !! VW: You see Gene Simmons back there ? AW: Haha ! I sure do. I bet you $5 he'll be grooving within 5 minutes. Love it when rockers play air-bass !! :) VW: Oh yeah, me too hahaha ! Gotta say I love those boots too - I want a pair ! AW: .......
