@@YourWingmam My GF tells me I Love you and does the things on this list. I'm still reluctant to tell her I love you back because of a previous LTR that also said and did some of these things but had NPD personality traits and discarded me after I said I love you. I would rather show my GF I love her with actions that mean more than words. How I make her feel is more important than a three word phrase. She agrees, but still wants to hear it.

Oh men this video got tears into my eyes because it was so beautiful, reliefing, stunishing because I mostly just felt tortured. There are very few women I would consider as such ones you explain here. I'm just sad and can't truely explain, that topic isn't everything but a big one too. I just ask myself, how to be a man who's good for these women, because sleeping around with many women is really nice as a man, but sometimes if you always deal with those annoying or torturing ones you just would appreciate it 1000 times more to have one of these you're explaining than the others with which you can't feel good or trust truely.

Hahah that one with the big eyes killed me when the cat video came. Also I remembered a situation, once I went to a store where a girl was, she started talking with my dad, I appeared next to them and when she noticed me I noticed how she was like shocked or what ever it didn't seem like she was scared, and she was quiet for a few seconds like thinking about something. I didn't mind much I just noticed something was going on in her head, and before going again, it was like she came closer and closer from time to time when she was explaining something, but I noticed that late when she suddenly was closer to my face than stranger girls usually would do and she looked deeply and curious or what ever it was into my eyes. I got a moment where I was asking myself what does she have and I looked into her eyes I noticed how her pupil dilate were expandet a lot, it was like I wanted to ask my self if she was high, but I could understand her asap somehow when I knew what it truely is. At the phone i said her my email adress, because that one sounded strange and she said oh okay, excuse me for a moment, then it seemed like she turned away from that phone and laughed so hard about the name, and I was just like "... 😓" no emoji there idk, then she turned back to the phone keeping talking. Sound of voice had something what I can't explain it sounded peacefully... Idk why I only truly remember that one when you talk about that. But just didn't talk much with her and she let me go too normally, then I had kidney failure and stuff for a long time but theoretically I'd know where she is. Just I don't go there. I remember like I thought that could be a silly one who would make me feel bad, but after that one I dealt with such ones I thought were good but which were such ones you explained who just used me and truly made me feel bad into abuseng me for my fair honesty in the end or tried other shit etc. Men these women who aren't afraid being truly interested that way you explain here are so amazing ...

Yes watch out for some of these signs as they could be using you like telling you secrets or sharing their vulnerability just because they want attention, they want someone to be their emotional sponge to wipe their emotions and then throw you once she's done.

I have found this true in my family of origin life, and again at work where it was especially uncomfortable because I am supposed to be focused on a job not being used as some kind of emotional tampon/support system being used to "offload" women's guilt and or having to listen to complaints that should be more effectively aimed directly at their spouses or boyfriends.

Very good list tonight! My late wife rarely said "I love you" but she did show it in many of the ways you mentioned. Her mother used that phrase as a method of manipulation -- so she almost never said it herself. She did respond with "ditto" when I'd say it, so "ditto" kinda took on a new meaning for us. It's important to note that she didn't (and I'm guessing most women won't) do these things all the time; we all get wrapped up in our own lives occasionally and forget to encourage others. But this is definitely another type of "love language" which is highly significant. Good stuff. Now that your changing your outfit AND the background image each week, I'm waiting for Stuffy permutations next (e.g., making him an orange tabby one day, giving him a purple mohawk the next :). You do and will remain in my prayers. God bless you, loveliest "provocative prude!" -- Russ P PS/Mr. T seems back to normal and is snoozing on the sofa. Thank you for your prayers!

@@JackFalltrades To the best of my recollection, my wife first used the term around 1977. I can say for a fact that she was using it by 1979. I think she got a little irritated that they later "stole" her meaning for the word for the film, but that's only a foggy memory.

@@belivuk2526 Every guy gives the unreturned I love you in his life at least once. If you are really filtering you may be giving the "thanks for loving me" response on occasion yourself. You can't make her love you, but you could tell her how you feel in a more romantic and less threatening way (in the I'm locking you in way), leaving out the L word and get creative. Don't over do it but sharpen your pencil and write down ideas of fabulous fluid inducing original lines. Memorize them. Simply telling a woman that you can't stop thinking about her will get her of the fence (eye contact when you say it). Tell her that you are burning inside for her or equivalent. Make your "I love you" sound more original and provocative by saying something else. If she's still non-plussed, don't continue to throw you heart after her.

Britney Spears said it best. "Ooooop's you think I'm in love, that I'm sent from above. I'm not that innocent." I had seen a young woman several times before and I really liked who I had seen. It took me by surprise when she had introduced herself to me. It took me several months to allow her to get close to me, but from day one I truly felt as if God said " Let the world see a love so pure and so true, that it had never seen a love like this before and will never see another love like this again." (yes I'm a hopeless romantic and an introvert.) She hit every single one of your categories on the list hands down! We started going out, and after about six months she cheated. She was in tears when she told me. I had never seen anyone so sad in my life. I told her that everything was going to be okay and not to worry. I told her that I loved her and I could forgive her for anything. She told me that I didn't understand, that she loved him. I died inside. She told me that she was afraid that she was going to loose her best friend. She meant me. Now I was very confused. I was always told that you should always marry your best friend. She cheated on me four more times with four other guy's over the next two years. I fell in love once. It was a long, long time ago. I swore that I would never do that again.

Cheat on me once, shame on you, cheat on me again, shame on me. "She cheated on me four more times with four other guy's over the next two years." She has shown you who she is, and you've excepted it. Your problem isn't with her, it's with you, but that's good news because YOU are the only person who's behavior you can change. The hardest thing to do is to make sacrifices. There's only loss when a sacrifice is made but if both make sacrifices then both do gain. If one party sacrifices more then this can cause frustration and resentment.....eventually leading to break up. How to avoid this ? ..... there's no easy answer/solution. It's so important to communicate to avoid misunderstanding. If you have a common faith/religion and pray together then you'll probably stay together.

Yes, that being OK with my people was a big thing for me. My little second cousin got shipped across the country with leukaemia. Sorry Amanda, correction, first cousin; you made your mum swap positions with you in the family tree because you wanted to be closer to me. I had to have a second diversion set of keys and slip out another door, she would hold onto them so I couldn't go anywhere. It was important that they got along and were comfortable sharing my time. As soon as we found out there was one on the way we drove over to see her and let her know she was the first in the family to be told. She passed away two weeks later, but the smile on that face is etched in my memory.

It sounds like you're doing pretty good Robert. I've had the same situation. Divorced for 3 years no contact for two. I'm just now starting to feel normal again. I had no idea I was being emotionally abused. I've had to work through a lot. I guess you don't know what you don't know. If it wasn't for the internet and all the information available I still wouldn't know. I'm very thankful for the knowledge I've gained in the work I've done on myself. God bless you Robert and good luck.

I’ve dated and/or been with many nice and beautiful women over the years, but only a couple of them I thought of as a true friend where I felt comfortable sharing both the good and the bad. This even though many of them wanted me to share more, but it’s simply a “vibe” one feels, not what they say they may want me to share, if that makes sense.

Great video Anna. Talk is cheap and in some cases has absolutely no value at all. I was with a woman who told me she loved me every day for 16 years until the day she hooked up with the dude she went out with at high school. My intuition told me the whole time that her words were meaningless because her actions didn't match them. I guess when you have 3 kids you turn a blind eye to those things but it was a hard though very valuable lesson and an experience I won't tolerate again in any way. My takeaway from it, don't settle for the sake of being with someone and don't settle for someone who feels she's settling for you. 😁

Part of "loving someone" is learning how NOT to 'push each other's buttons'. Let's face it, if two people spend a lot of time with one another, they soon learn what triggers each other and which subjects each of you has very big (negative) reactions to. Learning NOT to trigger each other, and defend each other (from third parties pushing our triggers) is important for the relationship. [I think you touched on this, using different words.]

yeah I def agree. I'm a libra who found my libra partner lol but just in our nature to be agreeable with one another , we were best friends before we got together so we know each other in and out , seen each other at our worst and our best . when we moved in together into our first place we unintentionally went an entire year and some change without soo much as one being actually mad at one another. like actually, not a single disagreement on a single subject. when we finally did disagree, it had been soo long it genuinely felt so strange we just laughed about how awkward it was. I plan on marrying my best friend very soon 💯

FWIW I have always found a desire to "push someone's button" to be obnoxious and immature. This includes co-workers needling each other (aka on the job harassment these days). Why would you do that to someone and especially to someone you're supposed to love? I'm not judging here..... just saying that there is something primal about going out of your way to make any human feel bad. Would you set off firecrackers under your dog knowing that she is scared to death of them?
@PeterAcrat
@PeterAcrat 2 жыл бұрын
👉In order for someone to Push Your Buttons", you've got to be somehow (subconsciously) offering a button for them to press! Understanding that 'Button-pushers' can't push a button that doesn't exist, I think the "Next-Level" to genuinely loving partners is: _Taking seriously the value of the cues to personal growth and change (button value??), and genuinely supporting each other._ for the purpose of evolving and empowering ourselves by: 1. Actually take ownership of the _creating and maintaining the 'trigger button'_ to begin with. 2. Developing the awareness and response-ability to get to the core meaning driving the button's purpose. 3. Cooperating to facilitate the time and steps (techniques) to fully clear and heal the button so there is no longer a button available for pressing! Partners who come together on this basis (with these values of personal integrity) will get to live lives of _REAL_ change, feel the freedom we all seek, and have much to offer others IMO. 🤔Perhaps these are the 'Sigmas' and 'super-empaths' who have experienced and healed from NastyCism (just made that one up ©2022 😉).☮️

Love is deception. Love is a societal category. I don't want to be loved. I want to be liked. "I love you." Means "you are now expected to follow these 193 simple rules at all times." Being liked means she has a preference for you. You don't have to like those you love. You do have to enjoy and prefer those you like. Man oh man. I'm older than dirt and I have never once been with a woman who even came close to what you are describing. Sure, I have heard I love you my entire life starting with my Mother who routinely beat the crap out of me. And a wife who claimed to "love me" but betrayed and hurt me more than my worst enemy. Talk is cheap and to be honest, the kind of "love" I've experienced I can live without. I like the idea of your program Anna but that ship has already long since sailed for me. @@YourWingmam Much obliged. It's depressing that a lovely girl like you is also divorced. I certainly have my faults but I think in the areas that are important I am a high quality guy. You are certainly a high quality girl. Yet we are both alone. I'm not whining about any of this. Life what it is and people are who they are. It just seems like it shouldn't be like this. I doubt I will ever "heal" from all of this and I don't know that I even want to. The scars help me keep my wits about me when I start considering going out to meet people. Being alone is lonely. Being with a bad partner is painful. I prefer loneliness to pain.
