Correct rivet spacing makes me so happy. Looks great!

I admire the patience to ream a hole rather than just plunging in a twist drill.

Thanks for showing all the particular details of getting things ready to assemble - and then fly.

Looking good! Those spray cans that have a fan pattern are nice. I used some years ago where the tiny square tip that creates the fan pattern can be rotated so the fan pattern can be turned from vertical to horizontal. In case you didn't know. Thanks for the video!

I would recommend NOT using the airframe as a ground return. Proper connection is not guaranteed over time with corrosion and increased electrical resistance due to that.

Just curious how you would add a ground... Would it be OK to add a ground wire from the ground bus bar to the point on the rib where the the other grounds are? Or, would it be better to remove the grounds from the rib all together and ground the sending unit and the tank directly with a ground wire?

One tip: a reamer should never be turned backwards. When removed from the hole it should continue to be rotated in the “working” direction.

You don't need a bunch of people holding the wing for you if you have a dry wall (panel) lift. I can get mine on and off by myself.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia. Pressure back spray cans After using the can, I invert and expel the remaining paint. This clears the straw and nozzle. Pop rivets: Great money saving idea. Fuel filler and cap Planes that are not covered, seem to establish a possible point for water ingress on top of wing (JIMMY'S WORLD KZbin channel 2022) and priming and painting would offer corrosion resistance. 🌏🇦🇺

Why did you prime them when the rest of the interior of the wing isn't primed?
@KitplaneEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
As I previously explained, the rest of wing is primed on the mating surfaces. I primed this outboard rib because once the inner top skin is installed it is difficult to get to, and I want to paint it while I'm painting the wing.

Hi ,Mark would it be possible to make a challenger 300 sticker I would love to have one for the toolbox at work?
@gregoryriddle41612 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mark. At what point will you add the landing light(s) to the wing(s)?
@KitplaneEnthusiast2 жыл бұрын
The lights actually get installed in the slats and not the wings. I don't have the slats built yet so it may be a while!

uh......why didn't you just use shorter rivets? they do exist.
