I am researching UAVs in the construction industry and am also in the beginning stages of creating a university class that will be offered in the fall of 2023. So this is very interesting to me! While looking at drone options for my students, I visited a supplier a few months back and saw the WingtraOne Gen II. They had nothing but great things to say about your platform. The scale and speed at which this can map is impressive! What program do you use to stitch the model? If it’s available, I would be very interested in a copy of your Zurich model data set or model file. I want to cover multi-rotor vs. fixed-wing/VTOL UAVs for my class and that would be an outstanding digital example of fixed-wing capability. Has the WingtraOne Gen II been used in any peer-reviewed studies? I will be doing a case study in 2023 and would love to look at that.

The product Aesthetic is stunning. And how does it perform in cross wind and how did you eliminate the crosswind landing problem.Are you aligning parallel to the wind by estimating the position error or by some other method?

The WingtraOne GEN II captures accurate, reliable data according to the flight plan within the published wind limits, no matter their direction relative to the drone. The landing as well is stable and smooth, within published wind limits, based on our engineers' continuous study of flight data and a focus on achieving landings of this nature consistently over countless test flights.

What is the square kilometres of the Zurich city mapping? or how many square meters can you map in one battery with oblique imagery?

Hi Craig, thank you for your interest. The Zurich city mapping project was 8 km2. The oblique data capture with one battery at the lowest GSD is 70 ha (180 ac), flying at 49 m (161 ft) AGL. The maximum coverage flying at 120 m (400 ft) AGL for oblique capture is 180 ha (450 ac). Hope this helps!

Hola, y gracias por escribir. Se aconseja mantener la tableta fuera de la luz solar directa porque la combinación del sol y el calor de los componentes puede sobrecalentar la unidad. Dicho esto, ¿estás utilizando el último modelo (Tab Active 3) que ofrecemos? Este es más robusto para el calor.
