Winjet Fog lights Install on Scion tC (2014-2016)

This is a tutorial video, demonstrating how you can install aftermarket fog lights on a 2nd Generation Scion tC (Model year: 2014-2016).

10mm and 14mm socket
Socket Wrench
Interior Panel Tools
P2 screwdriver

My 2015 Tc came with a fog lights....and I put yellow LED fog lights on it. Super bright

Hey guys I just installed these but one thing is wrong. On the quarter panels when he says cut the second cable DO NOT CUT THE BLUE ONE, CUT THE SECOND ONE FROM THE RIGHT TO LEFT. Did it from left to right which is the blue one and it did not work. Besides that great video!

Yea I just found that out it’s the wrong wire.it is the brown wire. No need to jack car up waste of time.

Hey. Can you test turning on your high beam while your fog light is on. Does it cut off when you turn on high beam?

No, they stay on.

Is there a way to turn off that green light? Do you recommend them?

I haven't messed around with it yet since install..I been meaning too, the light is annoyingly bright. I do recommend them.

I installed mine got the same ones and is the green light supposed to be on all the time?

No. If wired correctly it will only come on when your interior lights do (example: at night when you turn on your headlights)

I originally used the inside blue wire but it did not worked. I switched it to the inside brown wire and lights powered on.

What do you mean by that?.. Like are you trying to replace the oem foglights with aftermarket ones or are you asking about wiring the aftermarket foglights to the oem harness (assuming you never had oem ones)?

Jerome Junior I meant to ask if I could wire my aftermarket fog lights to the OEM harness?

Oh, no you won't be able to. There is a special relay that goes in a bracket behind the radio for the OEM fog lights. The relay only comes with the factory fog lights. So, if you were to wire the fog lights to the OEM harness they would not turn on.
