This video is great, I just did this for my 2015 Scion tC and it worked like a charm.This video gave me the confidence i needed to install the OEM fog light kit, since all the aftermarkets required getting through your fire wall. However, I do have a couple of tips for anyone who sees this and might attempt: 1. First thing take out the battery! Taking out the battery gives you a ton more room to work with. It's a really quick and easy uninstall and reinstall. I couldn't get my huge torque wrench in the tight spot where my ground bolt was so having the battery out of the was a huge help. It also allowed me to get the entire fog lamp and plastic face card in in one piece, other than putting it together one by one where you can't see. 2. The head unit can stay plugged In the video he unplugs the entire head unit to reach the relay controller behind it, this isn't necessary. Adding the relay takes only minute once the head unit is out. So to save you the time, just balance it on your console area 3. Ground wire in a different spot I have a 2015 and the ground wire was just in a different spot, so just consider this when installing since I did have to run the wiring slightly different from how he has in the video But overall a great vid that you won't find another like.

@@MorozovAutomotive One question. Is it standard for the tC to have the Daytime Running Lights as the turn indicators? On low beam it is the middle lights, LED lights, and indicators on? On High beam it is the high beam, LED lights, and the middle lights on? I search some forums and have nothing on 2014-2016 model years. Also I live in BC, Canada. Hey I have a 2014 Scion TC. I recently replaced my headlights with LEDs that have a blueish tint. I notice I still see an old halogen bulb shining beside my main headlight- what's this bulb called and what are the specs to replace it for an led?

Those are just parking lights, I replaced mine with some really bright leds that have lasted me like 4 years now I think from Diode Dynamics

The cable from left to the right fog light comes with the kit. The cable that goes through the firewall to the dash comes pre-installed from the factory.

The OEM fog light kit that we installed in this video works great. The fog light kit you linked is too expensive. Do you know other ones that are not too expensive and that are good?

@@Shadow-wq4xh OEM parts are never cheap but they are always high quality and provide proper fitment. On Amazon you can find other fog light kits, like this one -amzn.to/49yHpTA. Looks like it should fit and it comes with the switch as well. It is a lot cheaper, I would give it a try. Most of the time there won't be any issues. Besides that, you can always return it.

Thanks man. Another question, I’m having trouble finding a good fog yellow light bulbs. Do you know any good ones? Besides the Sealight? I’m assuming the light bulb size for my Scion TC 2014 is H11.
