Nice comparison video of either emulator 💯👌 Would be convieant to view more like these. For few days i been working/testing UMVC3 with Termux and Winlator (SD870 12/256GB) Strangley enough Winlator can pull 50+fps in game whilst Termux is stuck at 20-35/40 Fps (regardless of what changes and edits to the application AND the game i make) Not sure if it's mesa related... application stability....or just somthing minor.

I would be interested in an updated comparison of the new Winlator 3 vs. Termux Box, especially now that Winlator added PulseAudio + other improvements. I would also be interested in a comparison between "proot" and "chroot" performance. In theory "chroot" is faster, but I would be interested in a practical numbers/FPS performance test vs. "proot" to see how noticeable the improvement is, if any.

Winlator 3 is even slower than winlator 2. Chroot and proot there will FPS difference only 2-5 FPS, sometimes the same. Only loading Times are much faster in chroot. I Just wait for native Performance of Project Secret to make a new comparison

Winlator is trash, I tried Termux-box and its so good. I am 30 hours into Oblivion with a few mods and the game never crashed once and it runs 40+ outside/70+ dungeon with medium-high settings at 720p. Its just a one time install and so easy to setup

Because when using termux box my device does not use the GPU completely. With termux my games run slowly, while in other videos with the same processor, the games run at a stable 30 fps, do you know why? As I already said, for some reason this emulator does not use my GPU or Processors completely.

Not all Games uses full GPU. Depends on the Game. For example. GTA4, ETS2, dead Space and some other uses 90%+ usage

How to get same settings on Termux-Box as on Winlator? For example, I've tested 4 different games on both emulators. And on Winlator all games work. On Termux-Box 2 games I even unable to install, one game doesn't run, last one - run, but has lower FPS then in Winlator.

Hat Termux-Box eigentlich wesentlich bessere Ladezeiten/Lesegeschwindigkeiten als Box64Droid? Ich habe das Gefühl, dass Box64Droid unglaublich hinterherhängt was Lesegeschwindigkeit während der Emulation angeht (sowohl Spiele laden, aber auch Dateien in Verzeichnissen anzeigen). Aber vielleicht ist das auch normal. Vampires the Bloodlines zB braucht drei Minuten, um überhaupt das Spiel zu laden (bzw das Entwicklerstudio-Logo anzuzeigen), und ich will gar nicht erst darüber reden wie lange es dauert ein neues Spiel zu starten.

Box64droid hat eigentlich auch gute Ladezeiten (chroot) in proot müssen die Spiele halt auf Drive C installiert werden, damits schneller geht.

@@matrimelee Laufwerk D befindet sich außerhalb des appverzeichnisses, während Laufwerk C in selbene Speicherebene wie die App selbst ist. Umso besser ist es bei gerooteten Phones, bei dem ein direkter Zugriff noch schnellere Ladezeiten bringt

Termux might have a better performance but it's absolutely unreliable as non root user. In 2 out 3 times the system doesn't boot up. Installer will mostly crash without any notice even when the system is configured the same as in winlator.

The main benefit of quickly choosing different drivers and swap between different SDKs is gone when using just box64 and the bugs of Termux X11 still persist. I've unistalled Termux for now and hope that Winlator gets more updates in the future (but kinda doubt it)

8gen2 also supported but some Games doesnt work due Experimental drivers. On non rooted devices you should install Games on Drive c

Yes Termux performs significantly better, but from a user perspective I prefer Winlator. (still more emulators the better) It's just more user friendlier, easier to manage and configure. It's like trying to figure out how get XQemu to run og Xbox games, when you can just use Xemu and CXbX reloaded instead.
