Pro tip: seat setting 3 is to set up seats for swiveling, when you’re NOT sitting in them! I wish the Ekko had a window on the entry door. That drawer cover should slot in right under the empty space below the entry controls. Oh, storage for sink covers UNDER the sink?

Loved your walkthrough of the 2025 Winnebago Ekko Sprinter! I'm totally sold on it. However, I can't find any in Canada yet and I'm hesitant to order with a deposit given how many RV dealers are folding in this recession-it’s like 2008 all over again. Thanks for the great content! @@ekkonesters599 Great idea! I know the standards between Canada and the USA are different so we have to buy a unit specifically made for Canada but they may have an idea for us. Plus, I love the external paint on your unit. I wonder if that is only available through them? I have an order form in Canada and there is no paint option. Anyways, determined to try and get one before spring next year! Hope to see you on the road! 😃

Great new rv. We have the same one except for the full body paint. Love the interior color. Glad we picked it. One thing that has not changed is the fit and alignment of the kitchen drawers. I do think yours ate worse than ours. Can't believe Winnebago can't do that better.

Okay, I am dreaming of the day I can get my Ekko. I only have 2 issues with the Ekko, and you debunked one. I die not like the idea you had to open the door to swivel the seats. But you have proven that to not be correct. So now I only have one issue. Wish it was a true full 4X4. This is still my dream van, and in my opinion the best in it's class. Only the ONLY thing it is missing is 4x4 instead of AWD. Thank you guys, love your vids. And Jas, you're funny, I can tell you listen to some hip hop🤣🤣😂😂, love it.. You ever hit Cali, you should hit some camp areas in tye County I work in.

Hi guys!!!! Pleeeease do a power/ride difference between transit/sprinter now that youve had it for a little while. Im TORN between the two. Really prefer the sprinter layout.....but the transit hp/torque might be better. Cheers!!!

Great idea, Fred, thank you for the suggestion. I would say if the power and torque is the key to the decision, the Ford is going to be the answer for sure if you can let go of a little bit of the power that the Ford offers, especially on hills and Needing to negotiate a quick lane change, then the Mercedes cabin and luxuries are far beyond out of the Ford.

I must compliment you both on a WONDERFUL job..so informative and so complete! For me, the MB chassis takes the cake. The fact that it sleeps another person in the Living Room/Dining room, and has a bit more inside storage that can really make the difference. Others say the build quality of the cab is a bit nicer than the Ford Transit. I know you probably will remain as neutral as possible (Ford vs. MB) but you did switch! I've heard the MB rides a little more solid, less roll and pitch. How do you find dealing with diesel vs. gasoline? Also, there ARE over 3,000 Ford dealerships (correct me if I'm wrong), but only about 800+ MB dealerships and some/many do not have mechanics who are fully diesel certified...what's the skinny on that? However, you made this so smooth and it flows well...GREAT JOB! Any comments on the drive/handling of the MB vs. the Transit (and I know, you did a chassis upgrade on Bad Betty. Plus: any name yet for your new beauty? That steak dinner? You are driving us viewers wild....my mouth was watering! Have fun and be safe. Best regards to you both.

If I may suggest an Add-On? If you want to store 2 additional LP Tanks, have a StowAway2 Max Hitch Cargo Box to store them on the outside, with the swing arm feature that allows easy access to the rear Gear Garage access Door, and the Ladder. The only Down-side: your rear camera view will be limited. And you’ll forget that you need to move the storage box out of the way in order to access the ladder.

How does the MB handle on rough, potholed back country dirt and gravel roads and steep hills? Is it able to safely negotiate portholes if you go slow, as well as washboards, ascents and descents? We do a lot of backcountry road travel throughout the west, but no boulder crawling or roadless travel. Also, since it’s a diesel, do you have to account for a “regen” cycle, or is that not an issue? A friend of ours has a Ford 350 diesel and when the system is approaching time to clean emissions, he has to keep driving at 55 mph to accommodate the clean out.

@@goprenow Is this an EKKO? If so are you referring to the main switch that is at the left of the entry door located by the main step switch and other lighting switches?

@@goprenow Also, if your having an issue with the switch itself and your concerned about electrical draws from the 12V system, you could go to the fuse panel (12V electrical) fuse panel located below the refrigerator (Transit EKKO models) and shut off all the breakers. This is in the toe kick area by the refrigerator.

@@erik1856 That’s a great question and I’ve been tracking it casually, but plan on doing a more in depth analysis this coming week. Currently, we averaged 16.1 on the last 2k mile trip. There were of course moments that it was 10 and as high has 22-24 mpg. It depended a lot on the elevation, cross winds, head winds, and hills/mountains. I wouldn’t quote me as saying it’s always going to be a solid 16.1. But I will say we were fully loaded with water and the garage had a bunch of things including my son’s 120lb electric bike. I’ll definitely provide a little more information in the near Fire. But I am very happy so far.

I wish Mercedes would have kept the 6 cylinder engine. To me , it does not feel right putting a 4 cylinder engine in a coach like that. Wonder how it does when you have to tow a boat or car ?

@@jerryc7016 definitely some opportunity in the mix for a motor option for sure. I do know of a fella that pulls a pretty large trailer, more than 3k behind the Mercedes Chassis.
