Winnebago Water Heater Access Mod

Just a quick and simple mod to the panel that allows access to the water heater. This just makes the method a little more robust over time as you access your bypass valves for winterization/sanitizing of the system.
1/4” wood inserts with the correct size screws are all that’s necessary. T-nuts (google it) would work as well.

Decent mod...I've used velcro for most right now. Some customers have requested to extend bypass valves through the panel and secure. No need to remove anything. Not on this subject, probably should reply on other video. Did dealer explain the water saver valve to you? Helps to not fill grey tank so fast? Still requires a military shower.

nice. I was thinking about using magnets but I like this idea as well. did y'all get any decent winterizing instructions? It doesn't get below freezing (at all) where we are, so I'm starting to wonder if it's super necessary. We're likely to have it out camping during some of the "winter" months too. Cheers!

@SpeedBumpMedia - Thank you for the awesome videos regarding the FLX features on the Micro Minnie. We just bought a FLX 2108 TB, and I am looking to do this mod. I would also like to mount the toilet paper roll on the same panel as you did. What do you recommend to increase the strength of the wood to better hold the weight of the mounting plate and roll holder? Did you add additional wood to the area where you have it mounted?

Just a piece of small scrap plywood. A little wood glue just to give it more bracing and screw the holder right through the panel into it. Find a new home build and snag a piece of scrap for free.
