The workers are exposed to fine plastic dust during grinding which may lead to development of interstitial lung disease in long run. I would recommend use of safety measures to reduce the risk. It's a great job. You are serving our environment well. Thanks.

Why do you have to make pellets, and then extrude? Can’t you just take the chopped up film and melt that in the extruder?

It would be a simple core to obtain some scrap sheet metal and bolts or even wood and wood screws, and make guards for all the rotating pulleys .... your workers will less productive with less fingers
