😂 A British commentator once said :” Don’t do anything great if you can’t handle the congratulations”. 😂 Thanks for your ( as always )wonderful reporting Ben.

Spicy comment of Soe: "Just wanted to show who is the real champion..."

How fast is fast enough? Racers now go faster than ever but have virtually no contact (or let's call it interaction) with the water. It's like chocolate that tastes of cabbage: why would anyone want it? The key is in the name: windSURFING. Surfing is all about rail to rail contact with the water which creates friction, drive and direction. Foils take all of that away. No rails, little friction. This takes an already struggling sport into a dead end which is apt for the zombee age in which we live. Watch out for the first foil fatalities: they won't be long coming.

Bullshit. Without foils we wouldn't have seen a race on Sylt this year. Also we had Slalom X with fin in Pozo and Fuerteventura and wave and freestyle with fins... Foiling is great, I do it for fun in light winds and otherwise I use the fin. Have you ever been foiling?
