Another good video and very informative, I've never heard of the line between pole and float called lash though, it must be a northern England term as I am from the south east and no one I have spoken to have used the term lash

All these people that think fishing is complicated.... Use a 6" lash, unless you're fishing at distance then use a 10".... (unless its winter or fishing for silvers then make it c. 2 feet) 😳 In all honesty, another great video showing subtle changes that can make a big difference

What about natural waters were the water is clear and reservoirs were tow n chop can almost make it a drift fishing tripping the bottom in deep water,, , , cracking vid again may need to watch a few times to pick it all up 🤪

just a quick question ive just got in to pole fishing i know the patterns and all that but 4x12 float say 5 number 10s shots and i cant get them on they are so small and when i see your they look some what bigger than mine even tho there both number 10s. is there different shot for poles or something or am i right. the ones i have you can all most fit through the hooks eye so plz tell me where am going wrong or am i just bad tnx u

Try securing the line in place to get some tension when applying the shots, should make it a bit easier. Yh been over a month now finally got the hang of it i use a bit of blue tack to hold them in place and use a 4.5 foot pipe filled with water to get shots tuned for what I need it for but tnx u anyway. I live in the North East england and its so hard to get out and fish the lakes are always frozen 😫 but thank you.

I would like to apologise to anyone who spotted the other video that was uploaded just before this one, where we got a short insight into Jamie's tackle room / shed / garage. I watched it, but noticed that at one point in the video Jamie's home address was clearly visible. I quickly messaged Rich and he took the appropriate action and took it down. For the safety of Jamie's family and the security of his property this was the best and right thing to do. Rich will re-edit it at some point and upload the footage again, hopefully.

@@WinningWays Maybe you can think again to subtitle in english especially these conversation video's not only for the deaf anglers but also for poor me from Holland.
