Great video. I was curious what Manitoba is like. After this beautifully made video, it looks pretty dull and depressing to be honest. Take away the great videography and there really isn't much there is there? Just a bunch of grey blocks and some flat greenery in between that you can find anywhere really.

Winnipeg's a funny place and you either love it or hate it. The climate is brutal, with freeing winters and baking hot summers. It's isolated in the middle of the Canadian prairies and the land is as flat as a pancake, so if you want amenities like ski hills, you won't find them in The 'Peg. But, if you want a great city to live in, you'll love the place.

To each their own. I've lived in several cities in Canada and I must say I LOVE this city. I love how many trees there are and how green it gets, and how everything just blooms and comes to life in the spring & summertime. I love how slow and relaxing the pace can be, yet its a city with all the amenities you could want. I also like how many camping, fishing, and boating activities there are in the summer, just due to the thousands of lakes we have nearby. I like how the city doesn't hibernate in the winter, but there are loads of activities like hockey, skiing/snowboarding, and ice-skating on the forks riverbed. Lastly, it's a good place to raise a family and one of the last places where you can own a nice house with a big open yard.
