I think having Gabrielle on is good for your channel, the average cyclist may relate to her more and she has great personality. Too often cycling turns into competition and this alienates some casual riders.

Thanks for all the comments to help Gabrielle's position! I just ordered a short-reach 36mm handlebar and 60mm stem. This should now fit her perfectly :) Her currently integrated handlebar/stem from winspace was the shortest option (38cmx85mm) but this is indeed to big for her!

I knwo this video is "old" but i came in the comment to see if you make one about the size. I don't know if it is the gopro but her bike looks to big for her. For sure a shorter stem would be great. How is it now ? And maybe level up the hood a little, sometime level up them improve comfort and put less stress on the wrist. I found this video because i search for review of the Lun wheels, there are multiple Hyper reviews but not so much on Lun. So after one year, how is the feedback ?
@MrTuxy2 жыл бұрын
@@simonpeneau7802 I also was looking for a review on the wheelset. Her bike is too big, look how low the saddle is. A 60mm stem will make the steering very twitchy. You can make a bike that is a bit too small fit but trying to get one that's too big to fit is usually a bad idea.

Thank you both! Been waiting for this review. Oh by the way, for those who may order these wheels, my advice is choose the express shipping option. I ordered my gf’s Lún’s 4/21/21, free shipping…they are hung up in U.S Customs. I ordered a second set of wheels 2 weeks later, 5/2/21 using the Fedx shipping option, I received that order in 3 weeks, 5/20/21.

Hey. Thanks for your review. The moment I saw Gab on the bike I immedeatly thought: "The handlebars look WAY too wide. I wonder if she has any neck or hand issues." I would consider a narrower bar. And by the looks of it MUCH narrower. If you get the arms parallel probably the reach issue gets resolved by just doing that. Maybe have a look at short reach handlebars instead of shortening the stem length. (Looks better imho). Greetings from Germany ;)
@CharlesOuimet3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing man!! Indeed we will look at getting a smaller handlebar. It's already small (38mm which was the shortest option from winspace) but she'd need a 34!

@@CharlesOuimet I think a narrower handlebar and shorter stem would definitely help with her hand issues, but I would also suggest trying a shorter crank. I have a good friend that switched to a 160mm crank this year. This opened up her hip angle at the top of the stroke, allowing her to reach forward more easily. Maybe this would negate the need for a shorter stem.

about 500g lighter for easier climbing and more deeper rim, so at 40kmh the aero gains are quite a lot compared to shallow aluminum wheels. Maybe 1.5-3km/h faster for her same power output

John, basically most of the wheels and frame are made in china these days. When you buy a mainstream brand you pay for the marketing expenses.
