He served as an MP under both Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II. It is quite incredible that he provides a link between such distant ages. He served a queen who grew up in the Georgian era and came to her throne in 1837. The last monarch he served still reigns.

You’d have to be daft to assume that an eulogy would be only a minute long.... if anything, The Crown shortened the speech by nearly 80% to suit the visuals. The whole speech by Churchill is a lot longer and a lot more thorough, as all eulogies are.
