the cost of living/ groceries went up under labour govt & what did they do to help nothing except pay consultants😂 to look into with no results as for poor nutrition that's people's choice the amount of times I see people buying junk food soft drinks which are no longer cheap . Alcohol people always seem to have money for booze. Etc

Just a through Covid it was the rural areas that kept this country going, too much emphasis is on Auckland to the detriment of the rural areas, time to put more development into rural areas and get this country moving. Favouring Auckland over many decades has produced nothing except overpopulation and massively inflated house prices which has done nothing for real growth.

Yes Auckland might be the sight of considerable economic activity but it really is a drain on much of the rest of the economy. Auckland’s economic activity is of a consumptive nature pandered to for electoral reasons by the politicians but it produces little by way of income producing exports. This is done in the provinces.
@nzreggae2534Ай бұрын
Well done Winston and Shane. Sounds like a fertile production opportunity. So many people around the world discussing money as if we can eat it. It is bizarre. Wealth is the natural world. Food, clothing, shelter, fuel, laptops. Whoever produces physical goods from natural resources creates wealth and earns credit. America and UK debt must be due to the trade deficit. We got other cheaper labour nations to produce things and make the effort.

All our skilled workers are heading overseas so how are the provinces going to bring nz back when the forests and mills are closing, farmers are getting priced out of the market, what about all the micro plastic in the water that's filling all our seafood with chemicals and what's the seas going to be like when more water from Fukushima is released into the sea.

That's good Winston. But tell me why our luxury foods ie crayfish, oysters etc are so expensive to us here (read trade agreements), and also butter is cheaper in Sydney than it is in Hokitika. Let's not forget the air miles distribution costs. What the hell is going on when the people of the export supplying country of origin are out priced?

Talk is cheap we want action. But one of the first things you need to do is stop all this Maori this Maori that bs. Remove the greens and Maori party out of parliament there just making trouble to the point it's going to start a racist war. This is only costing taxpayers billions were those billions could be spent on hospitals,schools, road,jobs etc etc. Everyone is treated the same were in the 21st century we are all New Zealanders. The special benefits have to stop to one race of people/ Maoris
