Wanted to say Niels' positive self talk is awesome to see. Most of the time you only see negative self talk, behavior, and body language on the court but Niels doesn't do that as much. Wonder if he learned that somewhere or just always did that. Definitely need to integrate that into my game as well.

An awesome match! One of the best matches you've had on your channel Winston. Just some great rallies. Jon is very knowledgeable and gave a great critique of Niels' game. I've subbed to his channel as well. The future is bright for Niels, and I wish him the best of luck in his college career. Winston, your channel has been delivering big time.

Gentlemen, this is definitely some of the best hitting and playing on the channel thus far! Both young men have really got game because of the combination of talent and grinding hard work in grooving this kind of game. I felt like this was one of the best demonstrations on Winston’s channel where we can see the entirely different fitness level required to play at the D1 college level. Recreational level players do not have the strength or stamina to play this intensely. These guys have the requisite skill level for hard hitting sustained rallies.
@davidcane801110 ай бұрын
Good match! For the first 7/8 games, ChangBang was playing like a good ole futures journeyman, extremely solid - and things were VERY tough for Niels. Then his legs went, and the youngster did well to take advantage of it.

That is some big boy tennis! The big hitting is so impressive but both players shot tolerance and consistency is even more impressive. They both demonstrate no matter what level of tennis you play the more consistent player with fewer mistakes will win most matches. Niels was less consistent in the beginning and Jon faded a bit at the end and the game score reflected those fluctuations. At their level the margins are tiny. For the rest of us who are trying to hit bigger and faster we are more likely to improve just keeping the ball in play and moving our opponents small amounts so they can make the mistake. Excellent play by both players. Hope to see Niels come back in a few years with 15 lbs of muscle and a few years of college tennis under his belt. I think he may become a beast on the court!

Very high quality and a delightful match to watch. That is the best I have seen Niels play. I think difference is that Neils is playing much more regularly than I suspect Jonathan is currently playing and that reflected a bit in conditioning and just comfort with the big moments later in the set. Just a hypothesis... but I think if Jonathan played 3 high-quality matches a week for about 6 weeks he would narrowly beat Niels in a rematch. Of course, Niels is ascending and his game will refine and hopefully find new levels via his USC career.

At 18:21 why wasn't Jon favoring the other side of the court for defensive purposes??? Much more real estate angle for Niels to hit to.
that's a surprising result as I expected ChangBang to win based on his results/history and I thought Niels was in a slump since he lost to Hermont recently
