The kid is definetly nice and smart. Ultimately, he made better ball placement decisions than you. Also, I think you should work on your Rafael whippey type forehand and mix in a more traditional open stance windshield one. Last, you hit a good ball, but kinda watch instead of being ready for the return. That trait allowed the kid to hit a fast ball back and you couldn't return it.

Why not redirect? Instead it's just mindless hitting back to the ither player.

Ya'll know Winston is just rage baiting with that title
@jamesedwards311911 сағат бұрын
If you’re going to hit that first volley to the backhand there, hit a backhand volley, don’t move around it and hit an inside out forehand volley, because that pulls you out of position and opens up the down the line pass, which your opponent tried, but didn’t execute very well. The down the line pass wasn’t hit close enough to the sideline. It was there though and you should have been passed.

Hi Winston, it would be cool if you do a new series of challenging lower ranked professionals, ranked around 2-3000? and go up the ladder and eventually reach sinner! that would be fun to watch

Wait who’s the pusher?? That guy’s definitely not a pusher. He popped up the ball only when he had to, or mis-hit it. His stroke looks solid

The difference between a Pro and a 4.5 cannot be underestimated. She has many, many hours of practice hitting shots under all levels of stress. Pros have experience handling the rigors of match play. Keep up the great videos.

You did not bad at all Winston. Against a former top 250 player that was a good set. The only comments I'll make is that you were regularly getting flat footed, try and attack your opponents second serves, and do your best to go a bit bigger on your serve.

What a good set! Seeing how good Makenna is, despite just coming back from injury, makes me wonder why some regular people think they can take a set off Pegula 😭😭

Winston is a strong rec player and you can just see what the ~3 UTR gap looks like here. She can attack on most of his rally balls - it’s just a matter of when and how. Good luck, Makenna!
