Still amazes me that he barely moves from the mic. He is rarely more than 8-10ft from the mic for an entire concert. All he does is just stand there and sing. No crazy light shows, running around stage. Just stands there and sings, and still kills it every single time. One of the few concerts I've been to and I'd go to again in a second if I could.

John Mayer also doesn't do all that garbage in his shows. John's acoustic show in Nashville blew my mind. Just him and a guitar holding 20,000 people on the edge of their seats for over 2 1/2 hours. George is the greatest modern country artist by ten thousand miles. But his skills as a lyricist and musician don't cut it. But he doesn't need to be a great player or writer. He's a damn great country performer.
