Winter Camping in the Coldest Place on Earth: A Hot Tent Experience -80°F (-62°C)

Welcome back to Wild North Camping KZbin channel! In this exciting video, we are going on a unique adventure - winter camping in the coldest place on earth! On this trip, the cold won't just affect me; it'll also take a toll on the car. That's why I've brought along a special heated car tent called Natasha to shelter it. As for me, I'll be sleeping in a different tent equipped with a stove. The temperature outside is incredibly frigid, reaching -80°F (-62°C). It's essential to prepare thoroughly because these conditions can be life-threatening. I've planned to prepare special dishes suitable for our harsh environment. To stay warm during the bitter cold nights, I'll rely on a heated jacket powered by a portable power bank. Despite the harsh conditions outside, the tent remains warm and cozy, and the soothing sounds of a snowstorm create a relaxing atmosphere that induces sleep-true ASMR. Enjoy!

Can anyone tell me why he puts the tube in the exhaust of the car?

Because if he doesn't, the exhaust gases will build up inside the cover and the engine will stall. That's a really thick cover with no ventilation, so the exhaust gas has to go somewhere.

I like this guy's logistics, especially with the hassle of a tent. BUT HE DOES NOT RECOGNISE HIS CAR IS WARMER THAN HIS TENT. If you have a powered system to heat your car why not sleep in it and have food prepared in advance? I mean why do this? Sleeping in this heated car is the most rational option. I mean ARRIVE. Yes without heating you are right. But a simple Diesel heater produces 120-180 degrees celsius hot air for a whole night using maybe 3 liters of Diesel. You can sleep comfortable in the back on a matras. You can also start the car engine every 2 hours a few minutes to keep that warm and ready to go. If you get stuck, not able to start the car you are in a dangerous position. Letting the car cool down while in a hot tent is not my idea of a safe setup. That's why.@@teggsyohh2
