Yeah I do prefer alcohol stoves in winter they seem to work better, just slow!

Great camp. That flame goes everywhere on the alcohol stove. Still undecided on getting one.

Yeah the flame can go everywhere with a bit of a wind, not so bad when protected from the weather though. I would say the key thing is a good windshield, the cheap one from AliExpress I used for the frying pan wasn't ideal as it had holes all around the sides. The one I use for my pot is much much better as the flames can't escape. Thanks for watching 👍

Yeah I was actually pretty warm once in my sleeping bag, packing up in the morning though was absolutely freezing! A mug shot would have certainly been quicker than making a full meal on an alcohol stove 😂 All good fun though, Thanks for watching, really appreciate it 😁

@@unclepeteswildadventures I use the Speedster Alcohol Stove along with the custom pot holder / windshield they make. Absolutely love it, really lightweight and cheap 👍

Brilliant video Stuart, couple of things to mention that audio quality on that mic is Brilliant there's no static or anything just crisp audio(going straight in my basket ;)), that music fit so well with the drone shots,and I've mentioned it before the picture quality 4k crisp as you like, good video keep it up 🎉

Thanks Josh, yeah the Rode Wireless ME is pretty good. I've been impressed with it so far, just had 1 issue with it when my LED light was too close as it caused it to make a buzzing sound for some reason. Thanks for letting me use your drone footage, absolute life saver. We didn't have much luck with drones did we 😂

Great film Stuart 😊. Finding my forclaz mat really warm! Don't understand the whole R rating thing but ive more xpensive mats that sposed be warmer but they're nowhere near as warm as my cheapish Decathlon job! Great stuff 👍🏼🙏

Yeah I totally agree, I think the Forclaz mat is a really under rated mat! I've camped in all kinds of weather in the UK and it's been plenty warm for me 😊 I need to get another one in case anything happens to this one!

Buddy, if that's how you want to cook (i.e proper cooking and as an ex chef there were some good techniques there) it's Trangia all the way mate!
