Oh you deffo need to do a checklist. I keep mine on a word document on the computer. My main issue is remembering where everything is once car camping. I took a knife and fork, forgot the tin opener. I have no idea where the fork went to. It's in the car somewhere. You can pre-cook and put it in those aluminium takeaway containers and just warm it up.

Lol Matt...the genius thing with your vids is that they're really upbeat and entertaining, despite everything not going quite to plan 😂 You survived, and learnt a few valuable lessons, primarily listen to Mrs H 😁... although you knew that already, didn't you? ☺️ I was frying up a portion of organic chicken while watching this, and feeling quite smug. But, I'm due for my bi-phasic nap soon, and my car is parked 'head down' on a bigger than 3° gradient, so I won't be smug when I wake up 😢

Matt.. why or why do you not just use one of those cheap as Pot Noodles single hob butane heaters to cook your food? That Lunch Box cooker thing doesnt seem up to much apart from warming stuff already cooked perhaps? I know there exist toxic fume issues with them but for just a short time they are fine??

Hey Gareth, sadly I’ve sussed out that I can’t cook on gas inside the car no more as it gives me migraines every time 😭 even with windows wound down etc. And yeah this lunchbox is defo only good for reheating (I’ve given it a fair try over the past year). But have you seen my car camp before this? The isolated coast one? My in car cooking is well and truly solved ❤️ well as long as I remember to take it 😭

My god man!!! That is NOT how to use the can opener! Surely this was done badly intentionally? 🧐 Use the little hook to pivot under the edge of the tin and cutting claw to pierce, rotate and repeat until you’ve made it all the way round 👍

See what you’ve just said is totally how my childhood memory remembered it, but when I tried it that way (that will be in the asmr version) it just didn’t work 😅…. So I opted for brute force and just make a hole approach 😂😂
