Hi mate, thanks for the kind comments! Glad you enjoy what were doing! Yeah I've recently bought a new pair of Daiwa Spectron rods (primarily to use for heavier feeder work on the rivers) but seeing as the fish in the lake went quite large and it was a decent cast to reach them I used them in this video! Plus is always nice to test out your new tackle purchases! ;-)

Hi Jammy, there are many ways of catching Carp, it depends on what sort of water you are fishing and what sorta size fish you are fishing for.

Hi Jamie, we've just added a new video online where we fish up to an island. To be honest with you, there's no special tactics to use, its just a feature, the same way a reed bed, overhanging tree or lily pads are.

I tried the pellet cone a couple weeks back and was a disaster, had 4mm pellets and soaked for 4 minutes, left to sit for 20 minutes then squirted some mainline cell stickmix liquid in there. Made a cone and casted out, no bite for 20 minutes so reeled in, pellet cone was still on the line completely intact!! Think i've either soaked too long or put to much mainline stick mix in there lol Need to experiment and get it right before winter.

What do you mean matt?!

Haha...@hammered deus I don't know what your on about? Not once do we say/make out we invented this method. Whatever method you fish with you are copying the person who invented it? So if you fish the Banjo feeder your copying Andy Findlay? Etc etc We merely make video's for entertainment, to help newcomers/juniors to the sport and because we love doing it. If you don't like it, then simply don't watch! :-)

@FromTheWatersEdgeTV9 жыл бұрын
Hi Jack Halford thanks for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the video. Hook size would have been a 14 or 16, I cannot really remember now. If you have a look in our video description you'll see a link to our Tackle Box though. Cheers Chris.
