@@iowacampclimbhike6083 It is so that farm herds, could pass through high RR tracks, so that they could graze more open fields. There were alot more plane lands back in the olden days.

I would put your video back on and than add the comment to it...its crazy how utube can be ..and I think AI is gonna rule the world in the not so distant future...and that's a scary thought.I've watched other utubers doing winter camping and it looks pretty nasty on some of them..trying to set up their tent in a blizzard ..it is strange weather for our part of the world eh.you are truly brave to set up camp and not be afraid that someone or something would come and scare the bejesus out of you.I know I would be..I wouldn't beable to fall asleep. That one video you did on the coast of California..that was pretty awesome..for your sake..I hope you get a shitload of snow soon lol

You honestly touch on a lot of good points. I work in IT and even I have concerns about the future of AI… so far I believe the technology isn’t quite there but it will be eventually. As far as winter camping goes even in the cold you can be pretty comfortable with the right gear. And staying active like cutting wood generates a lot of body heat. As far as people go I usually don’t worry too much about it because in my experience it’s quite rare to find other people hiking through the woods or adventuring like that. In this particular video that spot is far from secret, I actually avoid it during warm months for this exact reason. In the cold especially very little people are out and about and if it’s warm it’s extremely rare to find anyone if you hike even a half mile from your car

I know in the summer kids go in there all the time. Even caught two people banging in that spot before believe it or not. I swear every town has that one absolutely perfect stealth camping spot

Really don’t know why people put em up there, it’s so much work to do that and they are better used for sitting. It was an odd scene though walking up to chairs just chilling in a tree

I saw this reply.. not the other two. Unfortunately even with my videos set for no restrictions and allow all comments for some reason KZbin gets to decide which comment gets posted? I’ve seen them hold my own comments before. I get frustrated with that as well.. and it’s super annoying for someone that just wants to make a simple comment. I think it’s some AI that’s causing it. Been fairly mild in Iowa as well btw.. looking forward to getting a good snow. Never really feels like winter to me without it!
