So relaxing! Thanks! Hope you are now feeling at 100%. Oh boy do I need to get out and play after watching this video! Tomorrow I hope to set my new tent up AND have the stove going this time. Not an overnight, just a daylight test run. I'm probably going to have camping dreams tonight! 😊 (Side note: Of course the steak was delicious! It came from Fareway.) 👍

@@iowacampclimbhike6083 Worked great! Thanks for asking. I think I'm going to get a shorter stovepipe though. The one I have now is really overkill given the height of the tent, and a shorter one would be easier for me to handle also. There's a 6' one for under $50 on Amazon. Hoping to do my first overnight between Christmas and New Year's. Highs are supposed to be in the 40s. Possible precip, which would be great because I LOVE the sound of rain on a tent!!

Good to see you back at it. I just finished a hot tent camp myself, Good times right there!!! Cold temps are refreshing!!! cold but refreshing to be out in nature in the cold early morning!!! Thanks for the vid!

I'm a little skeptical to be honest. He might actually do it this time, I wish he would. Perhaps someone smarter than I can explain why it's still needed? The time-change always messes me up for a week

Had to get a different tent because my first one was really nice but not as vision-impaired-friendly. I'm blind in one eye and this new tent has a back door to the sleeping area!
