We took off for the Oregon Coast on a rainy weekend for a much needed relaxing camp with some friends in their sprinter van. We can't wait to get back out to this area for some summer camping on a hot day.

Nice mellow campout with friends are the best kinds. Quite a high campsite rating on the Scale of Two as well, you’ll have to come back in the summer to verify that.

Great video! I love that spot. Such a beautiful place. I'm not sure if you noticed, but last time I camped there I saw that someone had "ringed" some of the bigger trees around camp. Basically killing them. Super sad. The Sheriff came by and told me that they may have to close it down because those trees are now super dangerous. Anyway, looks like y'all had a nice trip!

I'll fight you for those coords. Not really. But maybe. I'm wondering. In what situation would you use an existing fire pit at a campsite instead of your portable one? Seems like you're leaning hard on the latter. Keep on posting vids, please.

Portable pits are great when you want to take cover under an awning.

Yep, what Dylan said. We pretty much always use the portable one in the case of rain. It’s also just nice to be able to have the fire where you’d like. I’ll use an established fire ring if it’s not too nasty, but the benefits of the portable one definitely outweigh the fire rings in my opinion
