No cure for fish fever. Do you remember how good Cedros was ? Now would be a good time. Also Cabo San Lucas should be full of marlin. But not Los Cabos.

Yes it is mellow and nice. Spanish explorers beating North, tacking all the way loved it. It is an anchorage named Peaceful. Drive a motor home and take the family. Or get a 2nd home with a 20 year Mexican lease. Keep a boat there. You can snorkel the beach, islands and rocky points. Different fish and different techniques for each location. Pelagics spawn offshore, a marlin caught there weighed 1300 pounds. Cow Yellowfin at 300 plus . LA Paz in a nice Mexican city to shop and eat ! Panga fishing and some with a flying bridge. Rating the fisherys West Cape, Cedros Islands around to Cabo San Lucas best by far, then Los Cabos civilized and very good panga fishing followed by East Cape and LA Paz. All very good for swimming and fishing and boating. :) :)

Thanks for the report at the islands. I was wondering what's going on out there. Did you bring reentry forms with you? The reason I am asking is because I have been out both of the last two weekends and I got stopped both times by a fish and game boat. They actually boarded and searched my boat. I wonder if they would hassle you if they stopped you and you didn't have the reentry form, and you had rock fish in Jan/Feb. I wish my girl would go fishing with me.

I had the forms but I figured showing them the track from the day would be enough. It seems more reliable than the forms themselves, which you could just print out. But yeah they are constantly out checking this time a year.
