I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Ann. Sorry to tempt you with some shopping, but both items are well worth it! I have hypothyroidism so I'm always cold this time of year. The vest is a game-changer. And it's so much fun exploring the ways you can propagate plants. Have a great day.

@@SusansInTheGarden I guess not today. It was another grey and dingy day. Fortunately I got all my compost materials layered up and covered for the winter. I still have 30 bags of leaves and a few more pumpkins to add in but I think I will hold off for now. I am just now going back to look at some of your older videos and enjoying it very much. For now I hope you can enjoy the season and be ready to start peppers in February! I know I am already looking forward to sitting in the shade with a large glass of iced tea and enjoying the peaceful garden.

Good info, just ordered the book. My fiddle leaf fig has grown up into the skylight in my sunroom. I’m going to try to propagate it, a lot of the bottom leaves have fallen off.

Susan, I have some begonia leaves growing roots in a glass in my kitchen. What is the best way to transition them to a pot and growing medium? Thank you for your videos. I am in the same zone in Wisconsin so no gardening going on outside at present.

Hi, Jen. The more common way to start new begonia plants is by taking cuttings and putting them into potting soil. However, since yours have sprouted roots in water, that works, too! Let the cuttings develop some nice roots, then transplant them into potting soil. Keep the soil lightly moist and put the pot(s) in an area that gets a nice amount of light. Don't you just love free plants?
