One of my favourite things about your journal-with-me videos is how they're not exactly focused on making the most aesthetic spread you could possibly make, but on genuinely exploring what journaling really means to you and how one thought leads to another for you to get somewhere - which might seem pretty random to some people, but actually gives off a sense of purpose/ grounded-ness if you're noticing

Christmas season reflected beautifully in your journaling. I love your thoughtfulness and explanation. I watch your videos multiple times and if I don't find something new, I certainly find the repetitious familiarity lovely.

How did you find your Penpal? I really want to do something like that as well, but I don't know where to find someone from my country (Germany) Love your videos btw💞🌸🌟
@GentleNest3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sophia! I only have one friend who likes to penpal, and we got so excited because none of our other friends would penpal consistently - so she became my penpal buddy ^_^. But I also like to send letters every once in a while to my other friends even if penpaling isn't really their thing ~ I don't really know how to find people safely other than sticking with friends...but I know there are sites that other KZbinrs use to get penpals (try Nisufilm or MilkCloud ~ I really like their videos, too ^_^)

Firstly Lots of love from India 💞💖💫 Secondly I really want to write daily journal but I am unable to do it any tips for the newbies ?
@sanjanabalachandar23443 жыл бұрын
You can build a routine by just setting a few mins towards the end or beginning of each day to reflect or set intentions. You don’t have to write everything that happened, you can just write what you want to. You have freedom with journaling so just write whatever comes to mind. Set aside a few mins each day and be consistent.
@sristichakraborty52233 жыл бұрын
@@sanjanabalachandar2344 thank you for the tip
@GentleNest3 жыл бұрын
Hi Sristi! I think the easiest way to keep a daily journal is to try keeping a simple diary, where you write a short entry each day (just to get into a habit of daily writing). Just like Sanjana said - you can write as much or as little as you want. It also helps to think of what journaling benefits you’d like to have. Do you want to meditate on thoughts and feelings? (Diaries are great for that). Or perhaps become more organized in life planning? (Try out a planner or “bullet journaling”). There are many kinds of journaling styles and it will take some experimenting to see what suits you best. But I like to start simple - In the beginning I would just write a short paragraph in a diary. Eventually I also decided I wanted to track my habits and keep a log of events, so I added a planner and bullet journaling to my daily entries. I found the Hobonichi suits this combination journaling the best for me and so you see me using it in my videos. Hope that helps! ❤️

Whatever gender you are……. How long did it take for you to master that handwriting? Also what’s your pronouns?
@GentleNest3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Mitsuki! I am a female (she/her..will also respond to “gorgeous”). I am so happy you like my handwriting! It’s been a bit since I’ve last practiced! Honestly, it doesn’t take long to adopt a new writing style (the key is to write slowly). This one has been with me for over a decade but I think it only takes maybe a few days to get comfortable with a new style if you are willing to write slow at first 🤗
@str4wb.cre4m3 жыл бұрын
@@GentleNest it took you a decade?! No wonder your handwriting is better than mine!!! And also thanks for giving me the tip of writing slowly, I think that’s what made my handwriting so messy- I could write a full essay in 20 secs-
