Thanks Steve. Since I gotten old I've become more of a fair weather fisherman. I used to hunt and fish in some of the most extreme weather imaginable. These days I fish when the weather is nice and watch videos of you guys fishing when it's too hot or too cold for me. I use that time to work on my boat and fishing gear. Right now I'm replacing the driver's seat with something different. I bought a replacement fork lift seat that looks more comfortable than my previous marine seat and this new one has arms that raise up out of the way. I like resting my old arms while I'm waiting for a bit. Plus it actually has a seat belt for when I'm driving in rough water. I had to do some jury rigging to get the swivel mount attached and it won't slide back and forth like it was designed to do. But, it's bolted on solid now and after attaching the arm rests I'll be done. Take care, be safe and I'll see you in the next video!

Steve's technique and knowledge of catching catfish is very insightful. I haven't had a lot of luck except at night catching catfish. Im trying to learn as much as I can. I want to catch more catfish instead of just catching catfish at night.

Tn.river still producing.I have been blessed to fish it for over 40 years and the big cars and strippers are still there .The numbers may not be what they where years ago,but quality fish can still be found.Some days you gotta work for them.

Around here you need to get the ice auger out unless you are all the way across the state fishing the Mississippi River then good luck on the boat ramps. I suppose if you had chains on your trailer and possible vehicle Around here if you find the deepest water in the northern part of the lake you can maybe catch some channel catfish

so far, so good. I bought them for dragging baits as they have a faster reel-back rate for those long linings. Less cranking to get them to the boat
