Its soo great having big ski weekends and tourists! On monday the streets and highways are full of trash, beer cans and hyperdermic needles thrown from tourists! I dont even leave my house on weekends, unless it is to leave Truckee!

I suppose you could survive "just fine" without all the trash, beer cans n hypodermic needles AND TOURISTS that keep the town going.. You might not remember ohh about 25-30 yrs ago it had, beer cans, trash AND hypodermic needles but NO MONEY!!! all the Cocaine, Booze and Gambling, stayed up in Tahoe and all the workers slummed in Truckee.. Everything changes, and nice places like Truckee have to adjust to some of the things that come with change.. What are you going to do?? "Leaving/running away for the weekend" isn't an answer...
